It’s been almost five years since we started this project and the truth is that we haven’t had that much time to sit down and talk about our experience. We are living difficult times but there is always a bright side to look at. In this case the good thing is that, with a few difficult months ahead, it looks like we are going to have some time to write about what we do, how we do it, and why we do it. And not just that, we want to talk about everything we enjoy; good life in general; those little projects that we discover; good eating and better drinking, wine tourism; but also things that make us worry, responsible consumption, organic farming; and in general anything we consider worth sharing.
This blog idea has been hovering over our heads for a some time now. We are very enthusiastic about what we do, but we enjoy sharing it even more. We receive quite a few people in our winery with who we usually have long conversations over a glass of wine (or two) and we’d like to have a virtual version of that. This blog is meant for people abroad (or maybe nearby, but confined, because we all have been there already, and might be there again anytime soon), but also for people that never heard about us (about 9 billion people at the time of writing, but quickly decreasing) or that know about us but just would like to know more. With all of them we’ll be happy to share a glass of wine on this virtual platform. And if what we have anything to say that is of any interest to them we’ll meet again here next week (with another glass of wine, because we are here to enjoy, aren’t we?)
So how are we going to do this? Well, the best we can, that’s for sure. And with all our love, irony (that’s us), a good sense of humour (no need to suffer, there’s enough of that on the news) and with lots of personal opinion (like it or not but it’s our opinion).
But this is just a declaration of intent, the serious stuff will arrive at this same place next week. See you then!
